Pride follows through on promise to ban military uniforms
Uniform decision takes military out of Pride march

Compare this paragraph in WFP:
Having a military presence at pride also provides an opportunity to build bridges between service members and those who have been harmed by them.
To this one from CBC:
He argues having police and military uniforms in the parade continues to increase police and military accountability to the 2SLGBTQ+ community, who have long pushed for these organizations to embrace diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
Neither bothers to interrogate how uniformed participation from police and military does anything to address harm or increase accountability, but at least CBC’s makes it clear it’s an opinion and not fact.
The [Canadian Museum for Human Rights] told workers it would also be cancelling its official parade presence, as the museum and network had planned to march together and their registrations were linked.
Good riddance!
Pride is running a survey about the future of this decision, fill it out!
